What is som-bi?

Som-bi (Akan: join. Literally means "hold a part") is a platform for agro commodities sourcing and supply to fulfil a request for commodity project. It connects partners with impactful agricultural commodity trade projects in a transparent and secure ecosystem.

How does early exit work?

Profits are shared after project fulfillment and platform charges (10% of profit) and broker commiosion (2%) are deducted.

Partners are supposed to stay waiting till maturity (when buyer pays for the commodities supplied) usually 3 and half months. In the case a partner is unable to wait till buyer pays for supplies. Som-bi Super (A liquidity provider) will payout the partner's principal contribution plus profit deducting the remaining days till fulfilment. Som-bi Super will then wait till project fulfilment to receive returns.

Refund of principal paid to exited partner plus 1.2% of profit multiplied by number of days waited and deducted from exit partner's returns

Partner receives total principal invested plus percentage of investment in project budget of project profit minus platform and broker commision

Platform charges : 10% of profit

Broker Commision : 2% of profit
